Quantity Surveyor Duties and Responsibilities
- Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs
- Estimate the quantity and costs of materials
Prepare contracts and documents - Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials
- Analyze costs for maintenance and additional building needs
- Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets
- Act as a liaison between clients and site
QUALIFICATION
Candidate should have ample experience in road/bridge works (minimum 10yrs) in measurement and calculation of quantities, preparation of payment certificates, cost control and optimisation as well as perfect computer literacy, including civil works applications (MS Excel and AutoCAD etc.)
