Job Title: Radiographer

Requirement

1. Takes range of radiological services as requested by physicians
2. Coordinate the periodic update of inventory needed for the department and coordinate requisition.
3. Assists in evaluating clinical history and examination request
4. Prepare films for reporting and file diagnostics report and request.
5. Processes film as per request for patients and doctors factors,
6. Take radiographs while calculating exposure positioning and instructing patients.
7. Assist in ensuring the information systems used within the department are kept updated.
8. Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self and others.
9. Health and Safety
10. Performs any other duties.

Skills & Experience

1. Bsc in Radiography
2. Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in the field.
3. Must have a license with Allied Health Professions Council.

Technical Knowledge

1. Ability to take X-rays and scans
2. Possesses knowledge of principles of radiation physics, radiation interaction, and radiation protection. 3.Ability to read basic X-rays.
