Chief Internal Auditor / Internal Auditor
Vacancies exist in various positions within the Ghana Institute of Languages, a constituent institute of the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UMAC), with specialization in teaching both Foreign and Local Languages.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons who wish to be appointed as: Chief Internal Auditor / Internal Auditor
DUTIES
- Assess the company’s risks and the efficacy of its risk management efforts
- Ensure that the organization is complying with relevant laws and statutes
- Evaluate internal control and make recommendations on how to improve
- Identifying shortfalls or gaps in processes
- Promote ethics and help identify improper conduct
- Assure safeguards
- Investigate fraud
Qualification Required & Experience
- Must be a chartered Accountant with 12 years post qualification experience
- Must possess a Master’s Degree in Finance, Auditing or Accounting
- Have six (6) years relevant post-qualification work experience
- Membership of a relevant recognized professional body is required
- Be computer literate and conversant with relevant accounting or auditing software
- Not above 50 years
