Fully Funded METI Government of Japan Internship 2022

Applications are invited from international students to apply for the 2022 METI Government of Japan Internship program. This is one of the most prestigious internship programs in Japan.

Over 200 students from all over the world are expected to join this year’s METI Internship Program. For this reason, International students with Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctorate degrees should submit their applications.

The good news is that students with any academic discipline can apply. Also, there are no CPGA criteria for interested applicants. Moreso, there are no language requirements for this internship program.

This internship program runs twice every year. Thus, Summer and Winter.

• 7th November 2022～16th December 2022

2022 METI Government of Japan Internship Benefits

The internship will cover the following expenses of successful applicants:

• Firstly, an allowance of 4,000 yen for living expenses. This amount will be paid for the entire period of the internship
• Secondly, Airfare Tickets for round-trip economy class air tickets, and travel insurance.
• Thirdly, Internship insurance
• Also, Transportation
• Last but not least, Accommodation expenses are associated with the training program.

Who Can Apply for METI Internship?

Interested applicants should take note of the following:

• Interested applicants should hold citizenship in an eligible country or region.
• Applicants should be proficient in the English Language. However, there is NO LANGUAGE TEST Required.
• Interested applicants should not be less than20 years of age and not older than 40.
• Also, candidates should submit proof of school or university enrolment or graduation certificate as well as a letter of recommendation from an affiliated university or institution, etc.
• Lastly, applicants should be able to do both the internship and preliminary training full-time at the host company.
