Job Title: Director of Partnerships (Blockchain, Web3, Cryptocurrency) 

Our client is Africa’s portal into the crypto-economy. They are building financial infrastructure—a centralized crypto exchange and wallet, a launchpad, and a Layer-1 blockchain as their core products—to fully bring Sub-Saharan Africa into the new world of decentralized finance, ownership, and creativity.

With the backing of premier crypto investors and Silicon Valley VC firms, they have launched their first product in Nigeria, and are quickly moving to expand into Kenya and Ghana.

An empowered, dynamic, and knowledgeable research effort is core to their vision, because only with the finest networking and deal-making ability in the crypto-verse can they orchestrate the complete crypto-transformation of Africa.

Requirements

About the role:

Our client seeks an experienced and well-connected crypto partnerships rockstar to establish and strengthen their relationships and generate business opportunities across the global crypto/blockchain landscape, as well as across the booming Web3, NFT, and Defi sectors.

Strategic agreements with the key protagonists of these industries generate the opportunity to multiply the scope and depth of the client’s reach, offering, and value proposition as they have become synonymous with crypto in Africa. At the heart of our ability to achieve this is a crypto networker of world-class caliber.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated passion for crypto, blockchain, Web3, and the client’s mission to succeed at the crypto-transformation of Africa
• An understanding and knowledge of the crypto and blockchain landscapes in Africa.
• 4+ years of experience in networking and business development with a successful track record of securing and evolving partnerships across the global crypto and blockchain landscapes; investing experience a plus
• A demonstrable network among top business executives, creators, and builders across the blockchain, Web3, and crypto industries
• Proven experience with token sales/ICO marketing, as well as with token whitepaper development.
• In-depth understanding & relevant experience in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, including a strong grasp of trends, themes, Economics, communities, etc., and of concepts such as blockchain, protocols, Defi, NFTs, DAOs, and other crypto-native technologies
• The ability to multitask and manage varied priorities across multiple stakeholders that are geographically dispersed
• You are adaptable to an ever-changing environment and do not shy away from accountability.
